You can control your sneezes if the moment you feel like sniffling and you squeeze your nose or put a finger horizontal and touch your nostrils, if you want to be more discreet.

However, there's no saving you if you hesitate and delay it even a second. Also, it will undoubtedly feel unsatisfying if you do this, especially since sneezing is actually a healthy thing and helps your immune system get rid of foreign invaders.

I think Anis’s sneeze was caused by a reaction to Lainie’s magic stone, since she has one inside her as well. Her body was shown at multiple points having some kind of physical reaction too. She probably already knew what was up and the “examination” was just for show since she couldn’t simply come out and say “I know because the magic stone inside me/curse of the dragon told me so.”

So yeah, that inspection was essentially just Anis doing whatever she wanted to the nice body in front of her, lol
